Zion National Park, UT - While not much of a hike, this is the route to follow to reach the entrance to The Narrows which is probably the most well-known hike in the park. Due to high water volume and the risk of a flash flood, The Narrows was closed while we were there, but I wanted to get a feel for it because I will be back!

The Riverside Walk is reached at the last of the shuttle stops in the park. If you are just visiting for a day and don't have the time or ability to do other hikes, you might consider this one. It is super easy, wheelchair accessible (with assistance), short, cool, and beautiful. You'll also see the entire length of the canyon on your shuttle ride so you can get a feel for the landscape.

We chose to do this short walk as a warm-up for Angel's Landing that same day. It had rained the day before, so we also wanted to give the rock some time to dry out a bit before heading up the cliffside. I think we planned it perfectly.
